Library Online: Introduction

The Library Online

The Library subscribes to a comprehensive collection of online resources. These allow you to search for journal, magazine and newspapers articles, e-books, images, video and sound clips.
Many of these resources give you an abstract of the article and details of the volume or issue in which it appeared. Others provide you with the full text so you can read or print the article in its entirety. For a complete list of the resources available use the 'See All Resources' link below.
Most of the online resources can be accessed without having to come to the Library. So if you need to carry out research or find information from the studio, workshop, home or anywhere else with an internet connection why not try the Library Online.

If you're looking for information on a particular topic for research or course work, you can use the following resources to search the contents of journals and e-journals for articles that match your area of interest.

Each resource allows you to search a collection of information in particular subject areas, for example film, performing arts fine art or design. Each collection may include the contents from hundreds of journals but will not include everything that has been published. To get a larger number of relevant results, don't just rely on one resource but try a number that cover your subject area.

E-journals are journals available in full text online.
