Accessing the Library

Library Opening Hours

The Library is open throughout the year. During term times we operate extended opening hours into the evening and on Saturday mornings. During vacations the Library is closed weekends and weekday evenings.

Full details of our opening and closing times are provided below. Any change in these will be announced both on this website and by email to staff and students of AUB. Alternatively contact the Library to check our opening times if you're planning to visit.

Accessibilty and Additional Needs

The Library building is accessible with space for wheelchair access throughout and a lift providing access to the first floor. There is also a disabled toilet on the first floor. We can provide book retrieval for those users with mobility difficulties, please contact the Library if you would like to arrange help with retrieving items.

The Library offers a range of support for students with additional needs. All our staff are happy to help students to access the Library services and collections. In addition we have a designated Library Assistant, Kay Day, who can offer support to Library users with additional needs. If you would like help with your research, please contact your Subject Librarian.
