Welcome to the Arts University Library. This guide provides details of the range of support we offer to students, staff and visitors with disabilities. All Library staff are happy to help you get the most out of the Library.

Each course has a Subject Librarian who can help with research for course work. We have a designated Library Assistant, Kay Day, who can assist you when you use the Library. Kay works part time.

Access

The Library building is accessible. The Library has two floors with a lift giving access to the first floor. Both the Library counter and the enquiry desk are at a good height for wheelchair users.

Remote Access to Library Resources

The Library offers a wide range of services that can be accessed from home / anywhere with an internet connection via our website aub.ac.uk/library. You will find these services in the Library Online.

Finding books

Access to the Library Catalogue is available from dedicated computers in the Library, 3 on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor. The catalogue is also available on our website aub.ac.uk/catalogue.
